3. Each tournament will consist of 4 ROUNDS and will be open to play for anyone for 1 WEEK. Tournaments will start on a Thursday morning and end on the following Wednesday night at midnight (your time zone)
4. Scores must be PM'ed to me after your round is complete. All players in the group must send me the scores so they can be verified.
5. You are not required to play in every tournament, but the more you play, the more points you accumulate and solidify your spot for the Ryder Cup.
6. Tour Pro difficulty will be used at all times.
7. You may spot someone a round only if you have completed the round you are spotting.
8. Pins, wind and weather will be determined before each tournament.
9. No chipping on greens unless your path to the pin is obstructed somehow.

Re: Who would be interested in a OS Golf League

Yeah that looks great! I think the reason we was thinking of using play the pros was not having to schedule matches and time issues. It is hard to get 2 people together at the same time. Personally I have no set time to play the ps3. I just randomly sit down and play the ps3. It's easier for someone to come in, sit down and play a round and go about their business when they have free time.

As I said earlier though I am fine with whatever. I like the setup of your league and it looks like fun.

as an earlier poster mentioned, we are trying to find a format that works best for us...

there's been a couple suggested that seem to work...

maybe we'll do a 4-round play with the pros and simply post your scores in a thread?

one try on each round, no re-setting?

tour pro, true-aim on...

i think that's what the consensus is.

we have people on different systems, and i feel like people want to play by themselves (or at least dont want the attempt to coordinate schedules to get in the way)

i think this is a very good point, esp since we don't really have a ton of people...

That is exactly what I was thinking. I think what we could do is pick someone to pm the scores to and then they can compile them all and post them in a new thread. That way it is simple and people can play on both the PS3 and Xbox 360. I like the points system and everything that other guy used so we could just use that.

When we get started we will start a new thread just for results and keep it clean. If anyone has questions they can post them on this thread.

and use "play with the pros" for settings, right?

so we'll try a practice week this week at Whistling Straits, if that's ok...
