Leafs Finish Off Panthers In Style At Home

Toronto -- After finally making the playoffs this season, the Toronto Maple Leafs have shown that they are commited to going all the way this post season as they eliminated the Florida Panthers in grand fashion at home at the Air Canada Center. Phil Kessel and Cody Franson scored even strength goals in the second and third period to give the Leafs a 2-1 lead before Joe Colborne crushed the hopes of Panther Nation when he potted the empty net goal to seal the deal.

Leafs Squeeze Past Rangers On The Road In Game One

New York -- The Toronto Maple Leafs' hot streak just keeps on going. The team narrowly beat the New York Rangers in New York last night as Joffrey Lupul and Corey Perry carried the team with rookie center Stephane Da Costa scoring his second goal of the playoffs. That would prove to be the winning goal as New York netted two goals in the third period before James Reimer shut the door. Reimer finished the game with 30 saves on 32 shots by the Rangers.

Leafs Sneak Past Rangers Again, Need Overtime To Best Rangers

New York -- The Toronto Maple Leafs have once again slipped past the grasp of the New York Rangers. Toronto took game two of the second round of the 2012 Stanley Cup playoffs last night when they won 6-5 in overtime at Madison Square Garden in New York. Phil Kessel scored his third goal of the game for a hattrick in overtime to lead the Rangers fans into disappointment as they watched their team lose their 2nd in a row to the Leafs.

Thanks. Trying to get past the Rangers. Nash has a broken jaw so he's not playing as well as usual.

Since we are up 3-0 in the series and game four is coming up, I’m thinking about starting Ben Bishop. He hasn’t played in any playoff games so far this season and if the Rangers win it’ll only be 3-1 and I’ll start Reimer in game 5.
