Re: LEAFS CHISE

LEAFS CAP CAPS: CAPS 3 LEAFS 4
Kadri's (4,5 - 2 goal night) 1st star performance coupled with insurance from Kessel (17), and Raymond (4) secured victory for the Leafs. Alzner (3), Chimera (2PP,3 - 2 goal night) scored for the Caps.
W Bernier 14/17 L Hotby 13/17

3RD PERIOD CLINIC: JACKETS 2 LEAFS 5
Everything clicked tonight, even a 3 goal 3rd period, as JVR (7), Kulemin (2*), Gardiner (2), Lupul (4), Bozak (7) propelled the Leafs over the Jackets; Boll (2PP), Gaborik (12).
W Reimer 16/18 L Bobrovsky 15/19
Raymond's assist on Kulemin's goal was his 100th assist of his career.

ROAD TRIP
The 6-2-2 (last 10) Leafs take off for a 3 game road trip against the Pens (13-9-3, lost 8 to 5 last game), Sabres (12-10-3, series tied at 1), and the Habs (9-11-4, won 4 to 1 last game). Reimer (5-3, 2.60) will get the nod for the 1st two games with Bernier (9-3, 2.66) suiting up for the Habs game. I'll be happy with 4 out of 6 pts.

Re: LEAFS CHISE

HATTRICK NOT ENOUGH: LEAFS 4 SABRES 6
You would think a hatrick, from a d-man no less, would win the game but you would be wrong. As Ennis (11), D'Agostini (10), Omark (6), Moulson (8PP), Ehrhoff (5), Fogliano (5EN) pushed the score higher then Gardiner* (3,4PP, 5 - hattrick), McClement (4). This was a frustrating game.
W Miller 15/19 L Reimer 12/17
*1st hattrick for the Leafs this season

HABS BERNWALLED: LEAFS 5 HABS 1
This one can only be described as a blowout as Kulemin (3,4 - 2 goal night), Raymond (5), Kessel (19), and Orr *(2EN) secured the win; Eller (4PP) got the lone goal.
W Bernier 19/20 L Price 13/17
*Orr had a goal, assist, and a fight

SQUEEZED SCHEDULE
The Leafs have two days off before playing in 4 games in the next 6 nights; Sharks (13-9-4), Stars (14-9-2), Sens (16-11-0, won 4 zip last game), and Bruins (16-7-3, lost 3-2 last game). Bernier (10-3-2, 2.55) will man the pipes for the first 2 games, Reimer (6-4-2, 2.67) will dress for the others. I'm shooting for 6 out of 8 pts.

Re: LEAFS CHISE

SHARKED: SHARKS 5 LEAFS 3
The Leafs should have had this one, but after a complete defensive breakdown in the 3rd period it was over. Desjardine (4), Marleau (10), Couture (9), Sheppard (3), Boyle (4EN) tallied for the Sharks; Raymond (6), Franson (4), Kessel (20) tallied for the Leafs.
W Niemi 10/13 L Bernier 25/29

MISTAKES LEAD TO 2ND LOSS IN A ROW: STARS 3 LEAFS 2
After getting the 1st goal of the game, a positive for the Leafs, everything went down hill from there as the Stars pounced on D-man lapses - again. Seguin (9), Benn (9), Perverly (9) - see a trend here - scored for the Stars: Leafs got goals from Kessel *(21) and Kulemin (5).
W Lehtonen 10/12 L Bernier 9/12
Kessel has 3 goals in 3 games, continues to lead the NHL

Re: LEAFS CHISE

NO HOPE FOR SENS: LEAFS 4 SENS 0
Riemer and Co ensured the win by focusing on scoring early and mimizing rebounds; Clarkson (6), Kulemin (6), Fraser (1), Bozak (8).
W Reimer 13/13 L Anderson 15/19

BRUINS HAVE LEAFS NUMBER: BRUINS 3 LEAFS 2
Though the Leafs got the equalizer late in the 3rd, Caron destroyed hopes as he tallied a late-late 3rd period goal at the buzzer; JVR (9), Kulemin (7) : Marchand (7pp), Chara (6), Caron (3).
This was a close game right up to the end
W Svedberg 11/13 L Reimer 17/20

WESTERN SCHEDULE
The 6-4-0 Leafs take on 3 western conference opponents next; LA (10-18-3), Blues (18-10-1), Hawks (17-10-4, beat them 5 to 2 last game). Riemer (7-5-2, 2.51 GAA) has been a steady presence in the net as of late and will man the pipes for all three games. Hopeing for 4 out 6 pts.

The next three against the West will be difficult, I'm sure you're up to the task.
