Does anyone know if there is a known issue with 21 where you don’t get any games with rain/snow? I’m in year 3 of an online franchise where I am the only user and I’ve only seen sunny skies. Some cold weather, but no rain/snow. Annoying!

Does Madden/EA still use real weather for their online franchise?
I know they used to do this, but never really payed attention to this.

LOL!!! No. Not laughing at you but at the idea that they would actually have kept this cool feature (sarcasm as EA seems to just remove cool stuff over the years and this is one of them). I don't remember it ever being in Madden but I do remember it in College Football. You could choose to use real weather provided by Weather Channel or customize it yourself. A great feature that they just let go bye bye.

In addition the college football games had a really effective version of progressive lighting as well that is now gone. The angle of the sun appeared to slightly move after just about every play.....This made late afternoon games in fall start with small shadows and fairly normal colors, as the game progressed the sun would go down in the sky creating longer shadows and more of an orange sunset look. Then the lights came on and the 2 co-existed until the sun set completely and the game look went pure night game.....usually in the 4th quarter. It was great! It's 2020 and there is nothing like this in Madden still. Ugh.

I can't speak to the new versions.

The PS2gen, cities had the average fall temperatures and winter temperatures in the file templates, and the game responded accordingly.

It wasn't tracking realtime data, so it was pretty random.

Based on what I've seen, I doubt EA has taken the time to change this..

Prospective buyer, interested almost only in regs. Do origin and/or steam have many players on regs? In Madden 20, it was almost nobody.
