Are the ratings that are hidden based on position being changed as well in these? Or are the ratings that are visible the only ones being modified? When I did a similar edit for my personal use, I would change the position of the players to modify those hidden ratings, and then change the player back to his given position.

I'll finish the Cowboys either today or tomorrow, and then I will work on the Jets this weekend. That will give us five teams completed. With my schedule, I'll probably average 2 teams a week. Again, I don't have any help so I'm doing this on my own. I'll finish I just don't know when. I am rerating the players before I cut them. That'll save me some time when I get to rerating the free agents. I'm doing the best I can with what I have to work with.

Nope... Way too time consuming and the benefits don't outweigh the negatives, which is the time that it would take to do that

Depends on what you consider half a night. You are looking at about 4 hours per team if done properly.
