Have a question, for players released into FA pool, can you change there contract terms, like in NBA2K's games each year? Also same for CAPs?

No unfortunately, if u change their position before they are signed it adjusts the contract amount but we can't go in and edit the contract ourself

So three days ago I started a new project. I wanted to create a realistic league going into this next football season. When I started I played live mode for the super bowl, with the patriots, losing intentionally to make the eagles win so I could have my own ensuing franchise as realistic as possible. I Switched teams to the browns and made all their free agency moves from this current off season, got to final advance screen before draft starts and started to edit each roster by changing desired player to a punter and trading for him, and then sending him to his appropriate team as free agency updates real time. I plan on getting all of the big name, medium tier talent on their respective teams. I'll edit rosters to make them as close as possible so I don't flip out the AI salary cap situations for each team. Then when the draft starts I'm going to simulate the draft in my league and edit round by round each player to match up with each actual nfl team's draft picks as they unfold real time. Once that happens I might just jump right into the next season or I might wait out the entire off season to see if anyone big gets traded or cut so I can put them on their new teams.

Yes I realize this is alot of work but I have two hours each night, give or take a day or two, where I can do the tedious roster, contract editing. Any suggestions or critiques are welcome.

U can also in franchise trade the draft picks to the correct teams for added realism
