Are there any updates/other settings you use for CPU vs CPU that are not on the main page. The set was playing well but I started to see issues when I entered a new season and am wondering if there was an update I missed or if I am just overanalyzing.

Are you refreshing the sliders after every week's games?

I usually reload them myself to make sure they stay consistent in franchise mode.

I know there was a patch update like two weeks ago and few roster updates.

But no one has reported any glaring issues with gameplay, so I haven't altered anything with the CPU vs CPU set.

Okay, might just be a placebo effect or something. Probably nothing

Re: Playmakers Madden 23 Pro Level (Classic Passing) User vs CPU & CPU vs CPU Sliders

Hey Playmaker, in my franchise i have now i have 6 decent wr. I wanna use all of my wr threw out my games. 4 and 5 on my depth chart are young and i also want to use them so they increase there overall faster. Is that a thing, if they play and rack up decent stats will there ratings go up faster compared to not letting them play on game day? Also to use all of my wr threw out a game i would use the assign auto-sub feature, right or should i just do the formation subs? If i should use auto-subs what numbers would you recommend? Im doing cpu vs cpu with your sliders with no changes in my franchise btw with your suggested fatigue value @ 70. Well thats a lie, only change i did is run blocking was at 62 and changed it to 61 and fumbles was at 38 and changed that to 39 because my team is the browns and obviously Chubb is killing it and in my experience i noticed a lil bit to many fumbles but not by a lot so its why i did those lil changes. I wasnt going to bring those changes up because it has nothing to do with my wr questions but i decided to share it incase anyone else is having the same issue. Its such a small issue though so if i didnt have these wr questions i wouldn't of even brought it up just cuz its not that big of a deal with my experience with your sliders.

Yeah, I think the best way to get all of them on the field is via formation subs

If any of them are big WR's you could also line them up at TE in certain formations that way all of them will get on the field at the same time with your big WR's operating in the middle of the field.

I personally don't think auto subs and fatigue alone will get it done for you.

Oh alright, thanks for the info. If you ever in the near future cuz of a patch or something and you find a way to get more wide receivers from your depth chart to play in a game, please lemme know. I wonder if progressive fatigue would help with that. Even if it does idk if i would use progressive fatigue just for the benefit of using more of my wr's. Until we know 100% that it doesn't cause any issues and wont mess with gameplay at all. That's the only time i would consider using progressive fatigue.

Re: Playmakers Madden 23 Pro Level (Classic Passing) User vs CPU & CPU vs CPU Sliders

Thanks for the sliders Playmaker. I’ve been loving these sliders, and have committed myself to playing it to the parameters set forward.

I just have two quick questions, and I apologize if they have been asked elsewhere and I just didn’t notice it.

One, would you suggest doing user kicks at like 4th and 2 at the 5 or so? I only ask because I’ve been simming every kick as suggested, but every now and then the damn cpu will decide to go for it, which obviously breaks the immersion a bit.

Secondly, on offense, should I control the receiver/rb after they make a catch? I don’t switch to them, and also don’t user catch or anything, and really utilize the high throws for balls that may be dangerous unless the user takes over. On defense I’ve committed to sticking to one position, even though I vary which ones I use. There are just a few instances like kick returns etc, or fumble returns where I want to make sure I play to the spirit of the sliders.

Thanks again for the reply, and sorry for the long winded post!

Yeah if the CPU makes bone headed decisions on 4th downs I would start taking control of the FG's in those situations

On offense I control both the RB and WR but i only control the WR after he makes the catch

Defensively, I'm straight DL only no switching
