players gain skill points on a week to week basis and on default (weekly progression points) they will use them right away. so players will usually have only 1 at a time, sometimes 2 like if they are superstars. you wont see anyone just go from 80 to 90 in a short time. if someone did progress that much in a single season it would be very gradual.

I sim it each after I check to see if the focus training players change (they dont usually but I just get curious). if you turn weekly training to auto it will give the same xp but it makes the weekly training button disappear so you cant access it at all. just more convenient to leave it on manual and have it simmed, so u can view it if you want to.

Yeah I can't think of a reason why they wouldn't be useful. Now that progression is random and you can't abuse it.

I’m really out of the loop on this. What’s the latest on progression? Just turn it on sim, weekly, and let it ride? Do players progress at a reasonable rate?

So possible stupid question, the higher number on the xp slider means more xp that position will get? Like quarterback at 85 will get less than they would at 100? Or is it the other way around. I keep doing seasons and I’m maybe upgrading 8 players total even if they have a good season.
