The one thing I refuse to do is give myself a handicap and edit these sliders. If other people are playing on them and somehow not getting sacked every single play, then I know I can do it too. I just need to see HOW because it makes absolutely no sense to me.

How is everyone feeling about the run game? My experience is a lack of a serious run threat for the CPU and I also have a tough time getting the run game going usually. Usually it takes a freak big gain to up my stats. If not it's usually less than 2 ypc.

I’ve bumped CPU run block to 50 and lowered player tackle to 47. Against the Colts great oline and leveon bell I couldn’t do much to stop it, but then played the panthers with a banged up o line and even with CMC I think he barely had 2 ypc. Still getting good variety and have to think about stacking boxes and stuff.

Still seeing the CPU take terrible sacks in the red zone which takes away their ability to run for lots of TDs against me. User run game I get good variety as well.

You have a couple options here, Ballin.

1. Lower TAK values. This will adjust the pursuit angle and quality of tackles by defenders.

2. Lower offensive holding. That alone will help both the RBL and PBL.

3. Raise RBL. Careful with raising this value as the OL/DL interaction can be impacted and it becomes block-shed or not versus layers of interaction.

4. Raise Injury value in franchise settings. Something like 51, this will make players a bit more aggressive throughout the entire game.

If it were me, I'd start with option #1 and drop from 50 to 49 or 48. Have to be careful with TAK in general as it is quite sensitive this year. In addition, the most recent patch update improved the broken tackles more. I still think there are times when the tackles are too perfect, but it's better than seeing 4-5 tackles being broken in a drive.
