Player movement, cutting and overall pace feels much better here. Run game also feels more fluid and results vary more depending on RB, o-line and d-line.

Penalties
-False start increased to 65
-Offensive holding increased to 65
-Roughing the passer increased to 60

Skill Sliders
-WR catching increaed to 55
-Run blocking decreased to 50
-Defensive holding decreased to 50 (slider appears only in CFM)

Traits and Edits
-All LBs high motor should be on
This helps a bit with getting short and intermediate pass coverage tightened up more consistently.

-Kickers should have 80 awareness and 85 kick power max
-Punters should have 75 awareness and 85 kick power max
This helps the AI kick fewer long FGs and makes sure punters aren't being used as kickoff specialists. I just change these attributes for whoever I am playing against before the game.
Awesome, I'll be sure and give these a shot and let you know how it goes.

Do you make your adjustments at the main menu as well, or just in franchise?

Ok just tried out the new sliders, I'm the 49ers.

Cleveland (3-1) @ San Francisco (0-3)

CLE - 17 SF - 42

TOTAL OFFENSE
SF - 504
CLE - 396

PASSING
Garropolo: 16-19 (84%), 177yds, 3 TD
Mullens: 9-13 (69%), 107yds
Mayfield: 21-38 (55%), 270yds, TD, 3 INT

RUSHING
SF: 43car, 240yds (5.6ypc), 3 TD
CLE: 13car, 137yds (10.5ypc), TD
CLE (minus a fluke 76-yd TD run): 12car, 63yds (5.3ypc)

PENALTIES
CLE: 5-34
SF: 0-0

TIME OF POSSESSION
SF - 30:49
CLE - 17:11

SACKS
CLE - 3
SF - 2

Overall I was pretty happy with this game.

-I saw 3 roughing the passer penalties, and I actually declined one because it was getting to be too much. I feel like I might tone this down, but I'll see if it continues first. I'd rather see not enough penalties rather than too much.

-Running game was starting to get out of control again, I'd like to reduce the ypc by about a yard. Might make a small adjustment for next game and see what happens.

-I was very happy with Mayfield's stat line, not so much with my QBs. I saw Mayfield make some inaccurate throws and saw some dropped passes. Not sure if the difference is because I switch to coach mode for my offense and slow sim for my defense. I'll play a few more games before making any adjustments there. I was originally just watching the whole game but my offensive play calling logic is crap, we don't run the ball as much as I want.

-I really feel like I could tune the QB by reducing the pass blocking, but I'm concerned that it's just going to lead to more sacks instead of more incompletions. The QB logic just holds onto the ball too long.

I was testing with pass blocking at 45 for a good while. I like the pressure, but the coverage, in addition to QB AI caused too many sacks

Yea I can only imagine. I feel my sacks are high with the pass blocking at 50.

I played another game without changing anything. Much better completion percentages, running game still a tad high but bearable. Only thing I hated was Aaron Donald sacked me 6.5 times, but I understand that the game is basically computing this guy as unblockable.

Re: Cycloniac’s TrueSim Madden 20 CFM Sliders & Edits (CPUvCPU/Coach Mode)

Got a problem on a possible broken play. It appears HB Screens are broken when running CPU vs CPU games when watched or in coach mode. This for me is one major cause of high sacks in the game. One game I saw this play called 3 times all leading to sacks and never seen a successful screen.

How I'm running CPU vs CPU:
1. Go into Offline CFM as an Owner. I'm the Steelers for example but it happens for any team I'm controlling.
2. In the game, I switch to Super Sim and run in slow so I can watch the game.
3. Any time the CPU calls HB Screen for the Steelers who I started the game with, it results in a sack. If the CPU team I'm playing, say the Bears the play results in general as a completed or incomplete pass.

I've played the same game 4 times in a row between the two teams with the same results. I know there is a problem because when I switch to the Bears in this scenario, the Steelers can complete HB screens and the Bears never do.

I've noticed the CPU QB I didn't start the game with will throw off his back foot and his release is quickly like it should be. The CPU control team I started the game with never does this.

I've also tested this in Weekly Practice using Coach mode with the same results when controlling the offense. I reverse and control the defense and the QB now starts throwing off the back foot. I can get my CPU controlled QB to not get sacked on this play is to set the game from AllPro to Rookie and its still not that great.

Am I doing something wrong? Does anyone else see this? This would help reduce sacks I feel and get the game closer to more realistic performance. I hope I screwed someting up and this is not a bug so it will be an easy fix.

Thanks for any help and sorry for long post. Figured you need the details to understand what I'm seeing.
