Madden NFL 23 Impressions | Last-Gen (PS4, XB1, PC)

The neat little camera pan on kickoff is pretty neat. But this is one of the buggies releases on the ps4 generation. Hopefully the player builds is a bug and not by design. Franchise menus are snappier. Unfortunately scrolling through draft prospects is still really slow. CPU qbs throw inaccurate passes more now at default sliders. I also noticed the awareness rating is lower across the board which may have something to do with it.

So far I haven’t seen any inaccurate throws by cpu QBs. Maybe it’s because I’ve only played the Madden Legacy game with top QBs.

I've always preferred Madden on PC, but there's no way EA can continue to keep the PC version Last Gen. After playing a few games, I would say it made minor improvements to the overall experience.

Not deep diving into gameplay, but just the presentation package the PS5/X has, I need on PC. The game felt smoother on my PC or maybe the movement was less Jerky not sure. The player models were atrocious, surely they will be fixed. I'll be patiently awaiting to see if mods happen.

If I didn't have EA pro, I would seriously consider skipping this year.

I can’t even get the game to load on my desktop PC. I know it meets requirements. It works on my laptop and Steam deck. I go into Origin click the game then Play. Origin minimizes then comes back up on the origin game screen where you can hit play.

I frequently had issues with Madden 22 doing the same thing. I eventually contacted EA Support and they sent me this https://help.ea.com/in/help/faq/clea...th-your-games/

Read carefully some important steps you wanna pay attention to. This always worked for me.

I could probably adjust to RBs being big, but changing mid play would be terrible. I hope that’s fixed with a Day 1 patch.

Thanks for this! I was going to give this a go when I got home but I tried the game and it came right on. Weird lol.

Anyone else in PC trial have stuttering problems? I had bought the full game and was playing the "trial" Monday then the "full" game Tuesday. I got a refund for the full game, and now trying to play my last 6 hours and it's stuttering.
