I remember even back to PS1 all the last Madden, MLB, and NBA games were all just roster updates when PS2 was in their heyday.

Madden 01-05 and MLB 01-05.

Immersion and atmosphere has been one of my biggest gripes with Madden. For the most part, games feel like an exhibition game. I don't feel the"NFL Atmosphere" . So, I do agree that going back to a "TV Style" presentation is the way to go..

I do think having 3 broadcast teams is plausible. I imagine they just updated the lines of the Gaudin/Davis team. If they are following the EA CFB route of remote recordings, it would give them more access to more bigger name broadcasters. It's a big difference in having to fly them out to EA Tiburon, than working around their schedules and doing remote recordings. And with having 32 NFL teams to record for compared having 134 teams, should be a lot more convenient

What if one of the three broadcast teams is AI generated John Madden and Pat Summerall? That would be the ultimate presentation boost that no one would see coming. I'm sure (if they were smart) EA has talked with Madden's estate to allow them to do something like this. Summerall's estate is a different story, but what if that is the big surprise ?

I don't think we'll see AI in that form in games for a few more years

If they do that, take everything I said a few pages ago about finally getting great immersion, put it in a bag, light it on fire, toss it out the window

This is inevitable, but don't use dead A-listers

I'm surprised they don't just have voice actors on payroll full time. I feel like it would be much more immersive to have a couple guys cranking out lines together day after day rather than over paying real commentators with packed schedules.

What if they just get Kirt Herbstreit to also be on one of these commentary teams? He does call the Thursday night games now (as far as I remember). They could have one commentary team that does the Sunday games, one team that does the Thursday Night or Sunday Night games, and one team that does the Monday Night Game.

Then each game type has their own special score bug, wipes, ect to simulate the three major networks that broadcast NFL games (NBC, FOX, ABC).

I do think if they went the remote recording route, that should help getting big A list broadcasters. I would imagine that Madden started doing their remote recordings at the same time as EA CFB. I'm not sure if they will have had the same type of 115 hours like Fowler or 250 hours like Rece Davis, but I don't think 32 NFL teams requires that level of recording hours.
