Thanks, those numbers even look a little on the light side. Looks pretty good to me. Do you know how many CPU drops?

End game results of SF@TB with 15 min. Qtrs @ 10 sec. runoff. SF won 13-12.

1st qtr = 26 total plays
2nd qtr = 33 total plays
3rd qtr = 30 total plays
4th qtr = 48 total plays

total plays in game = 137....

NFL avg. plays per game between the 2012 & 2013 season = 129.3 plays
NFL avg plays per quarter = 32.325
NFL avg. plays per half = 64.65

brief game summary:

There were no interceptions through 3 quarters; in the 4th Glennon threw 1 INT, and Kaep threw 2 INT's. Granted, SF was behind in the fourth for most of the quarter thus was passing more and was running a faster offense..

Glennon was 20/30 passing for 238 yards.
Kaep was 23/40 passing for 181 yards...

TB ran the ball 20 times for 41 yards
SF ran the ball 28 times for 95 yards

how do you guys play defense ? keep one player ans stick with it or switch between players ?

I switch around between MLB and a safety...Though in next-gen I am also using a D-lineman here and there...

Not ready to say Defense is in Madden just yet. I've only played one online contest and won that one 24-19. I did not give up many big plays. Only one actually, but I need to play more. Can't stop playing Killer Instinct.

To the guys that were running the CPU/CPU games so that I could get a better idea of CPU defensive AI and the stats it produces, THANK YOU VERY MUCH for your time.

I really don't like the way the Franchise stuff was developed, especially the XP stuff and I'm a franchise mode only person. I really want an in depth, realistic franchise mode. But I'm taking a chance on the gameplay AI improvements on NG being what you're stat lines are saying and even with the franchise mode not being how I want it, I've actually changed my mind about getting NG. Again, thx for your time, you've helped me a great deal. If the CPU AI, especially on defense is what you say and have shown, I can live with the current franchise mode.

If I can find a PS4 over the weekend, I'll be picking up Madden 25 NG.
