If you just want sports games then It comes down to your preference of controllers really.

The PS4 looks a little sharper but they both look the same overall. This isn't like the PS4 looks amazing and the Xone looks like the GameCube graphics like some are leading you to believe.

Madden next gen looks only slightly better then ps3 madden, it's not a demanding game so it looks the same on both or at least very close. Play Battlefield 4 and then you will see a difference.

Assuming you have both consoles purchase it used from gamestop on both consoles and test it for yourself. Then return the copy you dont like. You have 7 days to return it.

Anyone's Madden look like this on PS4 or XB1 when adding bulky ankle tape too a player and then using that player in game? I own a physical and digital copy and its been this way since day one release currently running the 1.03 patch. Any help or screen shots posted would be great or is something wrong with my PS4 thanks.
