fix for sacks? anyone found 1 yet?

I'm playing on regular all-pro sliders online cfm and the sacks in my Cowboys franchise have been all over the place so far:
1 vs 49ers
11 vs Titans
5 vs Rams
1 vs Saints

I'd say about half of them were user sacks and half cpu.

No that's not the consensus... I was getting 8-10 sack a game before the turner, now I'm averaging less than 3.

Like others have said the main culprit for my 4+ sack games post turner is the QB not getting the ball out (especially on screens). I have seen them throw the ball away when the easily could have taken a coverage sack, but that doesn't happen as often as it should (imo).

I've been playing on AM with CPU PASS BLK at 50 like Charter's sliders state. The only other advice I have is if you're really good at using d-lineman then you may want to switch it up and play LB or DB to keep sacks down.

I'm not getting sacks like the OP has encountered and I hope it's left alone.

EA will have so it's impossible to get sacks.

If blitzing gives you too many sacks, then how about not blitzing?

I just started a new offline CFM as the Bills using Rushin's sliders and through 3 games I am not seeing a real sack problem. I think the most I have had is 4 in one game. I am 3-0 with the first 2 games being very close and the 3rd game a pretty easy win. I just hope the patch doesn't screw the gameplay over completely. As Gorilla and others have said, if you are getting too many sacks try not playing as the DL or blitizing so much. You can also not take advantage of the new DL moves which seem to have really amped up the push from the DL. Just my opinion.

That's just not football.

The problem seems to be almost exclusively with the QB. The IQ, decision making and failure to throw the ball away.

They instead adjusted the success % of the defense players.

If the QB got rid of the ball as often as he should then I think it would also go a long way in helping completion percentages as well.

Oh it's football.

A lot of teams don't blitz but stay in coverage.

The Redskins didn't blitz Foles this past Sunday and he whipped them apart and I was going ape sheet.

I think it's better for the limited few just not to blitz, than have EA patch it and mess things up for everyone.

I'm getting pretty good sacks numbers. Therefore, I hope that EA doesn't touch OL or DL play, but they should tune QB AI, especially on screens. If the fix that and tighten up coverage in the flats a bit, then this game will be pretty solid.

HB screens or screens in general need a little tweaking.

But that scares me, because screens will become the newest money plays if EA gets to it. lol

We have to be careful what we ask for. I mean look at presentation. I just want to run plays, not sit through countless cut scenes.

Then the people who ask for this crap, may play Madden until the newest game becomes available. *rant off.
