Yeah, he didnt want to come forward due to the fear of being banned online or he just didnt feel like taking a picture of his disc. Im not sure of his exact reason. Either way the post was taken down. Shopmaster responded to me saying he saw a guy with 98 speed, a couple dudes in the mid 90s and a handful of guys in low-mid 90s in the draft he scouted. I also hope that this scaling was addressed properly or online cfms are going to feel shallow

If this is true its just another reason for EA to let us edit in CFM. They have such a poor track record on attention to detail. If my rookies break my cfm experience I have no need for this game. My first purchase in years now looks like a cancel my pre-order and wait to see what the community says

Couldn't you just adjust the minimum threshold slider?

Also, how do fast rookies ruin the experience. Why wouldn't they be like DHB as a rookie?

You don't see how multiple rookies faster than any veteran in the game entering the league every offseason would ruin the experience?

Because they've scaled the speed of the real players to lower qualities. If u got new players coming in with 95-99 speed it ruins the whole base of the rosters. That caliber of speed should be very rare and it will become a dime a dozen.

I can see how, if I try to imagine a scenario. So yes it's a huge problem in an arcade league with young WR matched vs veteran zone CBs.

But what of acceleration, minimum speed threshold sliders, awr, and play calling. The impact should be minimal outside of abusive drag plays, streaks, and stretch plays. No?
