I'm also considering playing a 32 team user controlled CFM(offline), and just playing each game myself. No simming involved and hopefully it would help stop it if it's offline as well.
The guys that are seeing regression , are online and simming ahead a full season or more(some 5 seasons or more) and seeing some messed up results.
Well, it's looking more like a sim engine issue for regression.

And the progression issue seems to be the result of drive goals being completed.
Still haven't heard if turning off the drive goals display changes it.
But yeah, mainly online CFM is having issues right now, however online can get an update faster than offline, and they've already stated they will have an update, I'm assuming sooner rather than later now.

Really is that true? I have been looking at all the talk about CFM and the issues and it sounds like to me all the issues are for both offline and online not just online.

The Offline CFM advantages outlined above make it the best choice for solo players, regardless of the faster simming in online. Considering what happened last year during the holidays with hackers, you never know when that will happen again without any notice.

Yes you can, but it's just like last year. You'll have to manually create a new user within the CFM menu (right click) and make them for all 32 teams.

Re: Online vs. Offline Franchise

Is there a way you can remove the auto save from franchise mode and just load the file up on your own?

Yup it is. Online requires the connection to EA servers to not be broken at anytime.

Re: Online vs. Offline Franchise

I am going offline this year too. The CCM website is nice but it is very sluggish and not a well put together website.
