Which settings are you playing on? All Pro? Slow speed or normal?

I'm playing on all pro now, I might jump to all madden though which I usually play but I keep reading how much of a more sim game you get without boosts at all pro. I prefer and play on slow speed. None of which make a difference however with the playbooks or play calling of the CPU AI though.

Yes. The Panthers added a new wrinkle last year with Shotgun Double Stack. That format was NOT in the Madden playbook last year. It most definitely is this year. The Panthers ran read option out of it a few times.

Yes the down and distance ratings are horrendous...and it's part of the reason the CPU has such a tough time with pressure. You would too if your offensive coordinator dialed up a fake screen deep wheel route on 3rd and short lol.

Made sure I took all of those bogus play calls out. Added more option/zone reads in the red zone. Also added a few goal line fades for Kelvin Benjamin. And lastly, highly rated 3rd down pass plays for the TE so the Panthers would properly utilize Greg Olsen.

Still needs work but I'm getting there

Just finished a test game against the Panthers with the Jaguars. Still have a few tweaks to make but really happy with what I'm seeing. The game felt like Panther football.

Lots of runs on 1st and 2nd down - especially out of the pistol and shogun formations. Greg Olsen was utilized - especially on 3rd down. They fooled me with some draw plays. Overall a great game from Cam - he was over 275 yards 70% completion rate. Sacked him only twice.

I'm happy to see Cam not take off and run directly into his linemen for easy sacks with this playbook.

Still needs tweaks. Too many outside runs on 1st down getting stuffed to put them in 2nd and 14. Also because Corey Brown is #2 on the depth chart, they actually dialed up a goal line fade for him...that was ugly lol.

I'm hitting the gym and then it's back to work making tweaks!!

I was just curious. I follow your work for 2k and I'm interested to try this. Wasn't sure if you would get same results from all pro to all madden with the ai..either way, I like all pro myself.

Lol! Awesome! Can't wait to try yours out when you upload! Speaking of, have you tried that yet? I wonder if it's ea servers or me? I'm still tweaking too. The Seahawks added same formation and did the same last year with read option out of the double stack. Pretty sweet addition! Wait til you play CPU now I'm telling you it's a game changer! time consuming but well worth it!

On a different note I finished Seahawks defensive playbook as well with audibles, star ratings, etc. that's just as bad as the offense!

Ya you will see some odd things like that but then we see it and can fix so easy fix. Cool thing is simple edits and fixes and we can just re upload. What I did is I got rid of a lot of run or pass plays that aren't really that great to also add more efficiency for the CPU AI. I'd rather have the same run that's effective out of different formations instead. The CPU AI is smart enough to recognize where they have an advantage and will flip a run play if the defense is overplaying 1 side. So I got rid of a few weak side runs. I figured let's say if they were running strong power and flipped play it's almost the same as a weak side blast or whatever those runs are called. Not in front of the game at the moment so sorry but I think you get the idea.
