"I hope they patch this" - what, specifically? The post prior to yours is someone who hasn't played 16 and was giving 15 impressions.

It's not as much XP as last year as far as I've seen.

I'll usually pick a group per week and choose 4 guys to do the in-game drills with. Otherwise you spend more time watching load screens than actually doing the drills. Would be nice if you had the option to repeat a drill with the same player rather than having to load the drill all over again. If I'm pressed for time though I'll just choose 8 players and take the roughly 50 XP you get from the Earn XP option. But running through the drills usually only takes a total of 10 minutes or so.

I ignore it. I figure not using it helps balance things out a bit with the drive goals.

Re: Game Prep: Are you using it?

I manually assign the hours in Game Prep, but I don't play the drills. I'd rather jump into the games.

I do jump into the new free practice mode frequently, but that's neither here nor there.

Re: Game Prep: Are you using it?

Counting the pre-season at 6 times on a single player, you can add up over 6000xp for them. (That is using 45 as an average, some players will average over 60 points)

This is exceptionally good for players who don't see a lot of playtime immediately, but you still want/need to progress... especially for o-linemen (as I've discovered seen first hand) who you have starting as rookies and want to help boost up. I usually do 2 players at a time to speed up the process, so even 3000+ xp a year for them can be worth the effort.

I've taken a 4th string 68 ovr rookie up WR up to 78 in a year using this and then moved him to my 3rd string. A couple of years doing this, he could eventually be a starter, despite not being that great right off the bat. The biggest difference being, you have to pick 1-2 players to focus on, instead of being able to power level 4-5 players over the course of 1-2 years.

6x45x24 (pre-season 4 weeks, 17 weeks, 3 weeks of playoffs)
