Do the ball physics come into play on punts?

How does the kick meter look? Is is it a circle shape? I hope it's not a big long bar that spans across the bottom of the screen like in a Madden a few years ago when they changed the kick meter.

I think it comes into play in every aspect, I think that's how they can have backspin punts now.

I get how hilarious it is to think anyone would know better than someone that's actually played the game BUT that's exactly what I'm doing. I agree with JPDavis, what you're describing seems to contradict what Rex did in that interview.
