Madden 17 CFM guesses/predictions

I just want to bring attention to the quote from EA about CFM:
"Redesigned and Deeper Than Ever: Take your team all the way in the DEEPEST FRANCHISE MODE TO-DATE, putting you at the center of your team's Championship run."

The amount of expectations that comes with that is near insurmountable. We're talking better than Madden NFL 2005, 2008, and 2012. Which means it would at least have to encompass some of the key elements from those games. To match this billing, it would have to be at least on par or better than those titles. That's crazy to imagine, and almost crazier to attempt.

To be fair, they said things like "CFM is deeper than ever" and that they "left no stone unturned" in regards to M16 so beware of the marketing speak.

I'm still going to try and be positive that Franchise did get a complete overhaul like they said.

Haha didn't mean to be the buzzkill. But I remember being really stoked last year and buying into the whole "most resources" thing and then they came out with the blog and it was a completely different feeling. My biggest hope this year is that they start heading in the right direction. I don't care if there's only a few key things that they add or if there's still some stuff missing as long as you can tell that the direction they're going in will get us back to that franchise feeling of old. Gameplay did it last year and took it even further this year and I hope franchise can do the same.

Yep. Us Franchise folks should be used to this by now. That's why I really need that blog to come out sooner than later. Break my heart now so that I can move on with my hopes lol

I really don't expect much. This mode needed a complete overhaul, which is supposedly what it got, and that means everything that comes with the first year of an overhaul. Hopefully some good building blocks are put in place. Most we can hope for.

Claiming that the mode is deeper than ever is a HUGE statement, but it's also a subjective one. That's why I don't know whether to make heads or tails of this.
