I'll post a summary of what he said soon. One thing is there were a few bugs with edge rushers in EA Play build and that was fixed. EA Play build was over a month old too.

Man, the most troublesome spot from that was he was so dismissive of off-ball injuries. I hope his comment was relegated to just non-contact injuries but that's not how I understood it. He basically said it was a good idea but they were far too busy with other, bigger focuses.

I'm sorry, but so long as they refuse to go back and address the stuff that was there a decade ago but isn't now, criticism will continue. Take a look at 90% of the guys on this board and they're critical because Madden let them do something BEFORE that they can't do now. How is it sim football if offensive lineman can't get hurt?

Rex and his team are the best Madden has ever had. I hope they get us up to speed.

Yeah, this is the kind of thing that they should be ahead of the community on wanting to have fixed as opposed to mirroring the majorities's blasé feelings on the matter.

Yup. And it isn't just a flavor thing either. Invincible offensive linemen completely change how you build your roster.

I'll go back and listen to it today but I believe the question was worded in a way that he was talking about non contact injuries like Jordy Nelson had, and if a player could get hurt while juking in the open field.

I hope you're right Josh. I really do. I just wasn't sure given the context. Also, if non-contact injuries were that emphatically downplayed, is it too far of a stretch to think that o-lineman injuries would be as well? Those two things are very similar.

I just don't see how you can say it's not a big deal to have OL immune from injury.
