That is not realistic at all

OK I've got 2 questions regarding the regression system...

1. So since regression weighs so heavily on accomplishing season goals, do WE get to assign a season goal individually to every single player on our team?

2. Since (Getting Old) takes -2 attribute points, at what age do players officially begin "getting old"??? Because it wouldn't make any sense for a 3rd or 4th year player to start declining because he's "getting old". In real life, players don't reach their primes at least until 4-5 years into their careers!

Madden NFL 17 Video - Player Regression and Menus (MoonlightSwami)

Am I the only one that actually likes this? I had players regress in madden 16 in my online league and I was pissed because of course the only thing I could think of was AGE. I am thankful that they are are explaining why finally. Number 2, when glover Quinn dropped to 82 speed at 32 years old I was furious. There were full backs faster than him lol. I drafted a saftey that year who ended up being slow development and my mid tier free agent saftey just wasn't as good so I decided to keep Quinn as the starter and he was still effective despite being slower. I just changed how I used him like I didn't man him up against slot wide receivers. I would if it was a tight end and typically kept him in zone. I really like this and appreciate what madden did this year. Its a systemic approach and isn't random like real life but if it was random like real life how mad would you guys be if a certain player fell off the face of the earth one offseason and you had to restart a new franchise because you didn't like it? Thank god they have editing now but the random factor wouldn't work in a video game in my opinion and the set up regression is perfect for a football video game IMO.

It is insanely difficult to replicate real life but players eventually regress because of age, but ignore the regression ratings for a quick second and use him to see if he's really changed that much before bashing their approach. That's just my two cents.
