Played with the updated playbook just now. Game was incredible, man. Perfect run/pass balance. Gurley absolutely GUTTED me for almost 200 yards. Sheesh. The Rams ran 21 times in total. Goff was something like 20/36 for around 280.

I was looking at the playbook for the ps4 but I see that the gameplan is not set correctly. There are just all kind of plays in there. This makes the CPU run on 3and15 for example. Which make no sense.

Another thing. Any idea why I don't get the strategy plays from the gameplan?

I did set them but i get this message every time.

Teams will sometimes do a draw play but should only be 1 or 2 of those mixed in with 40-50 pass plays IMO... The CPU caught me off guard with a draw on 3rd and long with custom book and got the 1st. Problem is it can't differentiate between 3rd and 9 or 3rd and 17. Not sure if field position is factored in as well. For example if 3rd and 17 at 37 yard line it might benefit CPU to do a draw as it could result in getting in better fg range. It does happen though...

Just tested this out using Charters sliders and had a really fun game (won 37-34 in OT) but the playbook definitely needs some tweaking I think. I got 8 sacks but I'm not sure if it was because of the sliders or the plays but I'm leaning heavily towards the latter. There was a few plays that resulted in some bonehead QB but I'm going to play another game and see what happens. I think I may have weighted passes too heavily on 1st down and 2nd and long which made them seem really pass happy but the game I played was kind of funky with how it played out. Did see them run a couple draws on 3rd and really long which was nice. It was definitely better than the base books but far from perfect.

Yes but that was because the Draw play was on the gameplan. To be honest, these custom playbooks seems like they just throw all kind of plays in there without worrying about the distance or any gameplanning. On 3rd and long (more than 8) you have listed like 15 or more run plays, I know defaults are very very basic but the do take into account this.

Also i will ask for those who created the def PB. Do you see strategy plays or this is a bug?

Ya I got too carried away with plays added. So if I had 90 pass plays on 3rd and long I'd put 10 draw plays but at the same time the pass plays are rated 4-5 stars with 1 draw play in each star category. At least on the final versions. It will never be perfect. Sometimes I see great play calling games then I see some weird things. All I know is for me playing CPU with stock books is frustrating as they throw the ball away 8-9x a game.
