Official EA Play Video Thread

Why haven't we seen footage yet!!! This is do weird even for EA. We usually at least have videos by now

I don't think we'll get videos until around next Monday. It took about a week from the end of EAPlay last year so I'd expect that to be the same this year. The good thing though is that they'll all probably drop on the same day.

In all honestly, why bother with EA play. Just have the game changers come in and play it or have Ea drop some captured head to head direct feed footage..... seems like a lot of hoopla for nothing. meanwhile games like NBA live and battlefront have shown off gameplay.

I think EA needs to stop worrying about dollars and appreciate the massive community that supports and buys the game..... why so secretive if your going to allow hundreds and hundreds of people to see it and try it out.

Just seems like EA Play and E3 has depreciated in the last few years.

I'm not sure I'm understand you here. How are the being secretive? Anyone can play the game at E3 and give impressions on it.

They are in the middle of E3 so that is their primary focus. Not pushing out videos for us. I just makes more sense to release vids a week or two after the event.

And I totally don't understand your statement about worrying about dollars. The whole primary objective here, and with every other company in the world is to make money. Everything EA does, whether it be at EA Play, E3, blogs, or even interacting with fans on twitter is to make money.

And FYI, the NBA Live video was leaked. EA had nothing to do with it.

It's this way every year. Why do some of you act so surprised and upset? Rex said it's above his head and they'll have a capture event for community leaders to get us videos instead of a cinematic trailer that marketing would rather release.

All I'm saying is , either at EAPlay or E3 ,EA could of had a sit down with Ign or You tube etc and had an interview while showing someone playing the game from a direct feed and then showing off or explaining some new features that were unraveling on the screen.
We had that stuff in years past. I watched E3 this year and I thought Battlefront did a great job with this as well as other games like assassins creed, Spider-Man, god of war and FIFA.

Rex said that it was Marketing's call. They wanted to push Long shot out of the gate and didn't want it over shadowed by game play video.
