Since they borrowed developers from madden I assume franchise in nba live will look an awful lot like madden 17. I hope I am wrong.

Not in any order. Going to beat a dead horse here, but most of this stuff has been done in other games, whether it be Madden, NCAA, HC, on less powerful systems.

Full Coach staffs/Coaching Carousel (to include players becoming coaches)
Coach/Player traits/badges
Custom Plays/improved playbooks (see NCAA)
Deeper game planing (see HC09)
Export CFM rosters
Historical Stat Tracking - team records, past award/SB winners, previous team stats
In game saves
League Contraction/Expansion/better relocation options
Combine/Pro Days (see HC09)
Renegotiate Contracts, RFA, 5th year options, incentives/bonus's
Revamped Scouting
Rookie/Mini/Trainning Camp
Smarter CPU AI - all areas
Trade Finder
UDFA's

Presentation

Calender view (CFM)
Crowd noise/difficult road games (play art disruption like NCAA?)
Custom camera Angles
Custom/Dynamic Weather Options
Cut scenes on/off option (less coaching cut scenes!)
Easier Access to View league news
Field Degradation
League leaders during loading (CFM)
Miultiple Broadcast options
More Depth/Varied Commentary
Multiple commentary teams
Newspaper/Radio Show
Open/Closed Roof Option
Season Preview Show
Studio Updates
Draft Preview

Equipment

Classic/Custom Stadiums
Create/Edit Uniforms/Team Names/Logos
Custom Cleats 11

Re: A Unified Voice For The Future of Madden

A lot of things I'd like to see in Franchise mode going forward are things which aren't on this list (no particular order):

- compensatory draft picks
- 5th-year team options for first-round draft picks
- exclusive-rights free agents and restricted free agents
- option to require Play The Moments in multiplayer online franchise for User vs CPU games
- reverse order of ratings unlocks in current scouting feature
- player role / skill badges a la NBA 2K and Madden 08
- offensive and defensive coordinators (more in-line with NCAA 14, absolutely not like Madden 08)
- fully-featured companion app

Generally speaking, I would prefer additions which tangibly add to or change how I manage my team over presentation changes.

I love your list but I can't agree with killing presentation for it.

Re: A Unified Voice For The Future of Madden

I'll be posting more in this thread, but for right now I think the playbooks need revamping BAD.

Some of these plays were in Madden 98 on PS1(yes I'm serious)

On offense: Add in more option route pass plays based on post snap coverage by the defense. The offenses in the NFL nowadays are 60-75% option routes. I just watched a breakdown of a Cincy Bengal play from last year where 3 out of the 5 eligible receivers had option routes. We also need specific position for the offense. Meaning the X-Receiver always lines up away from the strength of the offense and the Z-Reciever always lines up to the strength of the offense. More diverse offenses, meaning if a team is a heavy 12 personnel team with big athletic TE's that can play multiple positions(on the line TE, wing,H-Back, slot, out wide) then I say 60-70% of their playbook should cater to that. The Washington Redskins come to mind. I'm a Steelers fan and I remember playing the Redskins last year on Monday night and I believe Jon Gruden said the Redskins use 12 personnel 70% of the time because they have 2 athletic TE in Niles Paul and Jordan Reed. Madden needs to adjust playbooks to match real life personnel/teams. Better illustrated pass blocking schemes(I.E. pre-snap should show which lineman is responsible for which player he is supposed to block)

More robust running game plays as well. Need to see a more diverse run blocking scheme, some teams run 70% power plays(Baltimore Ravens) some teams are more of an inside zone based scheme(my Steelers) some teams are an outside zone based team(The Redskins, the Broncos under Kubiak, the Dallas Cowboys)

Rename the plays to match the certain scheme that teams run. Example: What might be called "478 Y Seam option" for one teams playbook, might be called "X bend, Dragon, sluggo, Y Thunder HB Stamp" for another teams playbook, but ultimately it's pretty much the same play. It gives the game a certain level of authenticity if you diversify the playbooks. How many times have you heard players talk about the differences in terminology from one coordinator to another?

Re: A Unified Voice For The Future of Madden

I'm compiling my list at the moment. I can see where you're sort of going with the list thing (easier statistical analysis), can you manage guys not sticking to the list format?

Also, no option of Player Morale and/or Team/LockerRoom/PositionGroup chemistry...? It's a pretty integral thing for CFM dynamism.

It would be a lot easier if everyone put it list format but, otherwise I'll assume the first thing anyone writes being the most important thing starting at 1 then going from there.

If anyone just lists/post only a few things less than 10 from one category, from this point forward, I won't add it to the data because that would just throw off the balance of everything.

As far as player/group chemistry I categorized it as gameplay and didn't list it because if it was implemented, it would affect gameplay, or at least it should.

But if anyone puts it in their list, I'll rank it, I added it.
