Re: Madden 18 Q & A Thread

In my 3rd season. Played the Bears in the first game of the season. Win the game 33-18. When I exit the game the score says 18-0 with the Bears winning.

There were no stats recorded. Nothing. Same thing happened for the next game against the Cowboys. My team has no stats but they do. Anyone else experience this?

Re: Madden 18 Q & A Thread

I tried searching but could not find anything about why the word “perfect” pops up when switching defenders pre-snap. Not all players but some. What is perfect??

Fake handoff fake end around then pass. Something close in single back double tight in pats playbook

No Matter What playbook I pick the same plays are only ones I can choose and I can't run any good places because of this anyone got any ideas. No matter if its mut or regular my playbook choice has no effect

Does the computer really cheat on All-Madden? I always get different answers. Is there anything that confirms or refutes this claim? It's the only reason I don't play All-Madden. Does anyone know for sure? If it does, to what extent and how?

That depends on your definition of cheating. If you're asking whether the CPU gets a flat rating advantage over the user compared to All-Pro....yep, it does. It's pretty clear if you go into practice mode and check a WR/DB matchup with R2+Right Stick on All-Pro, then switch to All-Madden and check it again. The numbers except height will have shifted to the CPU's advantage. That doesn't mean they'll always have the upper hand in those matchups, especially if there's a very large user team advantage. But it does get benefits there simply from changing the difficulty to All-Madden.

Personally I don't believe it gets comeback boosts or anything like that at specific times during a game (although that's my speculation and not provable). But I do believe this flat rating boost across the whole game on All-Madden can make it appear as though the CPU is getting boosted at certain times, even though it's really not.

Thank you so much for the quick and descriptive response! I truly appreciate it very much. That's why I never play on All-Madden. I wish that wasn't the case, but I don't want to play on a difficulty that would do that. I guess, as usual, I'll have to stick to All-Pro slider sets.
