Personally, I am not a fan of reactionary rating changes based on 1 week. 1 week is too small a sample size to know whether players are really performing at that level or they just had an off game. Just look at two QB's this week: Alex Smith and Russel Wilson. One had a tremendous game the other did not. History tells us that Alex Smith won't be this QB all season long and doesn't need any ratings adjustment. Not taking anything away from what he did, he played an excellent game and destroyed the Patriots. But historically he has never had more than one game in a season where he played like this. Four weeks is a much better system.
