Some week 16 scores:

16-0
14-7
19-10 (Eagles...)
23-0
20-3
21-12
23-13
23-16
22-19

So yeah there are still low scoring and moderate scoring games. The offensive explosions usually only happen when good quarterbacks play.

mark it down, i bet they add RPO's to madden 19 and they will be OP , Just like Aggressive catch , Read Option , etc was when they were brought in .

it will be the new thing you see all the time for madden 19 .

Very true.. We are seeing more yards, but once in the red zone, scoring is still just about as difficult as it has been for decades, IMO. Seems a key feature of the Bend, don't break, theory of defense.

In madden, honestly, it isn't very easy to score inside the red zone..The big issue is time..The fact that a QB gets extra time in MAdden, makes for a world of difference in the red zone, thus in numbers, inflating scores. (my current working hypothesis).

A single, game-sealing defensive play does not equate to an all-around good defensive performance.
