I'm going to keep it real basic here. I want the cpu to play in an intelligent and competitive manner. A quality offline NFL gameplay experience. Cpu QB specifically. I am probably not getting day 1. I can't even deal with the stupidity of the QB standing there forever. The new dev is talking about quality. That was not quality last year.

I do like how player ratings were really starting to stand out the last couple years. Continue that trend. I loved how inaccurate my backup Qb was! Improve on the Sim mode that was in the game already.... Hopefully still there.

Unteathered animations for WR/DB. I had a Madden 06 franchise (yes 13 Maddens ago) that I still would play from time to time and my #1 WR is 6'4 with 88 speed. In M18 this guy is useless since he can't separate far enough to avoid an animation and all contact is a drop. In 06 he can just jump over DBs since their arms only reach so far and the unteathered animations means the DBs missed swat can potentially drag him out of the play. Now height is irrelevant when a 5'10 CB just morphs up over the 6'5 WR he's covering to breakup a pass he shouldn't be able to reach

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but I want drafted (CPU generated) player names in the announcer audio bank. I last bought 2017 (I usually buy every other year), but I heard this was still an issue in 2018.

I got really sick of my QB Bernie Pope, WR Jett, or any other player I drafted NEVER having their name said in game. I also got really sick of my fullback...by some generic name of like Jake Brown, being broadcast as "Hall of Famer Ozzie Newsome" every time he got a TD...

The game used to have generated names in the audio bank. It's just lazy that they don't now. There was also clearly a programming issue, because even if the name was in the audio bank (such as Brown), the game still wouldn't use it.

The score banner across the top of the screen is annoying also. Needs to be up in the top left corner of the screen and way smaller.
