Madden NFL 19 Bugs/Glitches Thread

Bug: Can’t use a period in first names when creating a player if you want to create A.J. Brown, you have to make him AJ Brown. The period shows up on the keyboard but is greyed out.

Mode: Franchise, create a player, any mode where you can name a player.

Can you recreate it?: Yes, the period is greyed our every time for some reason.

Bug (Be Specific): Sacks not recording or recording incorrectly. Got a sack with Gerald McCoy and a .5 sack was awarded to Noah Spence and another to the other DT. Then got back to back sacks with JPP and neither were awarded just listed as TFL’s. Quite annoying

Can you reproduce it? How?: no, but it has happened in several games while playing through the season.

Bug (Be Specific):went into double overtime instead of game ending in a tie. It happened in supersim as I was only playing offense. Clock expired, and instantly went to 15:00 ot, no kickoff, just kept simming as if the clock didn’t matter. Happened in regular season

So I have seen this in numerous games where the computer is trying super long field goals. When they should be punting instead they're missing and they're giving me good field position now a lot of times they're trying it with the wind but let's be honest how many teams kick a field goal from the 40 yard line maybe at the end of the half but not during the game pun and play field position. My other issue I noticed is I'm not sure using the joystick and passing the ball you where you want is working because I had Larry Fitzgerald wide open in the middle of the field when I went back and checked the replay the linebacker was on the right side of the tight end I throw the ball to Larry and the linebacker quickly knows where I was passing and intercepted it which would never happen cuz he does not know where I'm passing the ball and they wasn't even in the play so I'm noticing that the defense is having a faster reaction time then what they should normally have yes you want the Seabees to react but you need to get it where the receivers have a chance to get the ball without the Cbs coming way too fast

Bug: In MUT, when doing any of the various solo challenges (doesn't seem to matter which one's), if you are the visiting team, the game will incorrectly show the opposing team's coach on the sidelines reacting to what you are doing on the field instead of the other way around. This was a bug present last year that I believe was fixed at some point with one of the many patches.

Platform: Both PS4 and Xbox One

Is it recreate-able? Yep, just play a solo challenge when you are the visiting team. The opposing team's coach will be shown instead of your own head coach.
