Trades aren't all tough.

I was able to dump Terrence Williams for a 3rd and a future 5th... which is more than I think the Cowboys would get for him now.

Depends on the position and the age. A recently drafted QB is very hard to trade for, as it should be. It's very rare for a team to give up a young QB. I haven't had too much trouble trading for older veterans (above 27) in the 70s-80's. Those are usually the guys who are more likely to be traded.

Re: Madden 19 Trade Discussion

I'm with all those who are saying harder trading is good. The fact is Patrick Peterson isn't going anywhere in real life. Von Miller probably isn't either. If EA have been able to set it up so elite players with more than a year or two on their contracts are impossible to trade for great imo. That's the NFL. It was driving me crazy watching some videos on YouTube and watching people trade for the best players on other teams, especially by sending only decent players the other way. You want Patrick Peterson - you better be sending the house over!

If they want to add a trade slider to make trading easier then fine, but this sounds very promising - with the exception of Earl Thomas who I think there should be some sort of logic to acquire given his contract situation and the Seahawks' rebuilding status. I don't know how they programme that logic into the game however

Problem is you *could* send the house AND the farm and the Cardinals would laugh in your face and give you a red bar.

For a 28 year old who has never had a 1000 yard season and never reached 60 catches...you got a lot for him lol

I would say a 4th is fair for him really. He's not bad, but you can find average wrs like that in the draft. And it's crazy how Dez is still not on a team, which I didn't expect at all.

That's honestly ok with me. NBA 2k has a feature where some players are just untouchable, no matter what you offer. This keeps the league balanced and stops trades that make zero sense from happening. Tough trade logic is needed in Madden. I think they should add a slider to keep everyone happy though.
