Anything that's backlit is still too dark; when you're going towards the sun things look so dark. When it's behind you things look great. In a 1 PM game with the sun high in the sky there should not be a huge difference depending on which end zone you're driving towards. Some difference is fine but it's too extreme in my experience.

This is why overcast and night games look so much better: the sun is out of the equation and the stadium lights are providing even, realistic lighting. Nothing is overpowered.
Yea the reason he used was kind of shakey but hopefully whatever they have in the works just makes it look better then it is currently

It may be due to Cleveland color scheme but yes, 1pm games in Cleveland are the WORST this year. Stinks because I really wanted to use them already.

I wish they would add their helmet to midfield or something, so plain.

Re: Lighting Patch?

I don't know if this has been mentioned before but I just figured out a way for a regular HDTV setting to really improve graphics. I changed my TV settings to normal rather than vivid. I have always used the vivid settings and it has worked out really well. Because there is such a dramatic contrast between light and shadow with Frostbite, having a normal setting with a lower backlight made a huge difference.

Every time I play a home game @ ATT stadium, the players look like cartoons. Now, it looks much better and even the annoying sun in that stadium during day games doesn't present as much dark shadows. Colors, while they don't pop as much as they look much more earthy, look more natural and the players have a more solid look to them. Hope it helps some of you guys.

What's the best way to download a video where it maintains tye proper resolution? I have a short video of a 1pm game at Browns stadium on a clear day and it looks good. Not dark at all.

Re: Lighting Patch?

I think a big issue is their timing system with the sun. A lot of times at kickoff the game looks great, but once the next play happens the sun is at a different angle and it looks like 2 hours passed.

I had a 1pm game in Seattle where the lighting got super dark in the 4th quarter and then on the very last play it was like a night game. All of the lights suddenly turned on in the stadium and it was pitch dark outside. Just for that one play at the end of a 1pm game.
