This is done by

LT RT click RS in when in pocket (Xbox)

L2 R2 click R3 in when in pocket (PS4)

Is that to throw the ball away out of bounds?

I actually feel some of the sack fumbles when throwing, my arm is actually coming forward, so it should be called incomplete, but they never review it and I'm not able to challenge the call.

No it's how you just lay down on the ground and take a sack without taking a hit or getting the grounding penalty and throwing it away.

One thing is QB stamina is completely nerfed for some reason. I'd almost say broken. Helps to give up a lot of fumbles

Weird, I always just tap X to slide. A hard press makes the QB dive. Maybe that ensures it's a slide every time regardless of tap or hard press ?

They never learned to balance running QBs when Michael Vick completely destroyed the game and this was the band aid solution they came up with. Not adjusting the AI to react quicker(or AT ALL!!! -_-) to a scrambling QB or even creating realistic pockets that could lead to realistic contains, they just drop the stamina to red on any non-designed run. As far as I'm aware this doesn't happen on option plays or QB power, or at least it hasn't in the past

Makes sense now that you say that. I had my rookie 88 SPD QB actually run 80 something yards and I was impressed but it was an option play. Playing as Lamar Jackson now and even someone like Joe Webb it breaks the game in a sense. No way they are winded after a 6 yard jog.

Re: Why is my QB fumbling so much

Does anyone think the QB takes too long to get rid of the ball? It seems as though if a defender is within about 2 yards of you unblocked you can't get rid of the ball, even if it's a bad throw caused by the pressure.

I've had a ton of sack fumbles against me lately, I think my QB fumbles almost every sack. It seems worse since the patch, but I might be nuts. Granted some may be where I hit a button to throw the ball but since it takes so long to release it he still has it when he gets hit and then fumbles. It doesn't help that the OL usually jump over the ball on the ground and makes no real effort to recover a fumble.

Re: Why is my QB fumbling so much

I've notice that guys like Cam and Lamar dont fumble as often. Strength and archetype may play a role. But dont quote me though.
