Gotta tell ya dissecting the minutiae of the game's animations doesn't much appeal to me. I'll be the first one to concede the the game often animates poorly sometimes bordering on the absurd.

I was talking about game play and strategy. I'm okay with a wonky animation or two (or more) if it's need to force a result to ensure play calls are balanced.

I'm glad folks enjoy 17 and 19, just like I'd hope folks allow for me to enjoy 12...but if I can't punt into the wind without the ball traveling only 15 yards, strategy, gameplay, features or not, it isn't worth me playing. I get enough enjoyment out of 12 warts and all...if/when they fix the things I asked about I'll consider 19. 17 will sit on the shelf although when playing indoors or with no wind I did enjoy it.

12 was a great game. Nothing wrong with enjoying it. Last game you could switch sides in a cfm game too.
