Your rush ends will always be OLB if you run a 34, in my experience, and your right rush end will be your LOLB/left rush end will be your ROLB.

Not sure if that answers your question.

I meant like what coaching scheme does it consider for the rde. Like power rusher, speed rusher etc.

Also does anyone know if there's a way to flip just your defensive front but not the secondary? Like if I want to flip just the blitz but keep the corners where they are

That is unlikely to be possible as the secondary does play a roll in run fits, as by flipping the front, you alter the secondaries run gap responsibilities.

While playing today I realized how important this type of player is to getting the five man rushes to work.

They usually get picked up, but if your guy can beat his 1v1 and close quickly the offense wont get much time.

I think it rates one of them as "power rusher" and the other as a "finesse rusher" but it may depend on the coach/team/scheme you have. I found it a little curious myself - but I just use my normal DEs since I run a 4-3 (when I do run a 3-4 I use my ROLB/LOLB).

Scroll through the sub packages, you can at least flip your LE/RE I think..

Re: RLE, RRE, AND RDT in a 3-4 defense

Two questions on this.

1. How do you know preplay which side is strong side when USER is on D? If I go 4-3 strong, but CPU flips play, I’m misaligned.

2. With package subs, how do we know strong side pre play

The issue that I want to solve is if I’m the Bucs D and Lavonte David is my WILL, I want Beckwith (SAM) lined up over TE. If I call 4-3 under but the CPU comes out flipped, now David is on TE side but I’m aligned wrong. If I do play flip, it just shifts responsibilities, the players don’t switch sides.
