Madden NFL 20 Bugs / Glitches Thread

Since the 1.1 patch, 4 times now my game has glitched out and all my playbooks are empty, my players are invisible and after the 2nd snap every time is called a safety.

The first time was in CFM (the video linked below). The other three were online. Every time someone has to quit or it will sit there during the safety punt. I offer friendly quit but of course never taken.

Platform: XBOX One

Bug: I was playing the National Championship game and I noticed WR Streets was merged with another player. Started a new Face of the Franchise and same thing happened. It only happens in the National Championship game, not in the semi-final game. This has happened before, but I believe one of the patches corrected it. But now it's back, very weird. Are there any other updates happened that I'm not aware of. My file says: Madden20_1.0.0.16_x64

In Player Franchise as LOLB coach gives me goals and comments as if I were a QB. My goal one week was to get a QBR of 95.5.

Was watching defence make a stop on slow sim mode. Pressed to go and play offence. Went to game and instead of my ball on the 30 yd line the other team had ball and I was back on defence. They scored I lost

Xbox one ranked match

The wide receiver direct snap glitch is back. The guy would motion 5 wide to a pistol bunch hike it right to the wide out. I cant post links but if you go to Aaron Sneed on YouTube you can fine the record footage of the glitch

Annoyances that are here year after year, that by themselves are minor things but added up make you wonder why the entire EA staff hasn't been fired...

1. On the community files menu, the game insists on loading EVERY file in one category before moving on to the next. For those without super-speed Internet connections, it means that for me to go to the third menu to Offensive Sliders can take over a minute just to scroll over!

2. Fix the schedules in Franchise Mode! Last year I ended up in my second year with a schedule that had me finish with 7 of my last 8 on the road, and home and away streaks of 4 games. Seriously people scheduling is not difficult, I've built my own NFL schedules many times, you take any few real schedules for any year and make them into templates. Then substitute NFCE1, NFCE2, up to AFCW4, and then substitute in according to the formula.


3. The soundtrack sucks! I remember back in the days when we had a more diverse soundtrack and could even import your own music. But of course that would upset the corporate bigwigs that make million dollar deals to force us to listen to this hip-hop garbage. I stopped playing the menu "music" when we were starting to be FORCED to listen to it in PRACTICE with NO ability to shut it off, but now that they and the NFL seem more interested in catering to the inner city ghetto crowd, I'll just turn the volume down and turn on Sirius XM.

4. Speaking of not shutting things off, did it ever occur to these folks that some of us DVR games and want to watch them later, and it would be nice if you didn't put that scores ticker at the bottom and then AND GIVE US NO ABILITY TO TURN IT OFF?!

5. Can't change opponents in skills trainer? What gives?!


6. The skills trainer is not very useful. What's the point of "learning" to throw against Cover 2 when they just tell you everything to do anyway, and then buzz you when you complete a pass for 2 inches from the first down marker and 0.0001 mm outside of the "hot spot".


7. Unable to view weather, or wind until you're about to make a kick. Before calling a 55-yard field goal it would be nice to be able to view the wind direction.


8. Speaking of scores, why can't we at least simulate CPU vs. CPU games. To find out the score of such a game, we have to wait to advance to the next week and scroll through windows to see the previous week's scores. Why can't we just watch or super-sim individual CPU-CPU games?
