Is that a bug??? I mean Barkley IS really that good . It didn't look to me like he was in range for the tackle without diving and AI sensed there were other defenders on the other side.

I have to make a general comment too and this is not directed at OP, but as a software developer I can not possibly imagine the complexity involved in developing AI like that, so maybe that makes me want to cut EA a little slack. The things I rail on them for are annoying UI and feature problems that are much more easily fixed, like the "I really have 53 but the CPU won't let me play the next game." That's a simple If-Then statement. AI is more nuanced.
As the years go by, slowly the AI improves, but then BOOM you get another coaching style like RPO and now suddenly offense and defense AI has to adjust. Trying to get computers to think like humans? Very tricky business, and we have to remember there is an asymptotic limit at some point. The game will NEVER play like real NFL players do. AI can never be as good as the people programming it and the people programming it I imagine are, well programmers, and human, and probably not experienced football players. So I try to cut EA a little slack as far as AI goes.


Also IMHO it helps that although I've watched football for 30 years I've never played or coached it or am an expert on X's and O's. After over a decade of Madden I'm still on Pro level. So maybe that's an advantage for me that if for example the CPU isn't making the perfect AI calls for the strong safety, I get to remain blissfully unaware.

Bug (Be Specific):

Playing Franchise Mode Cpu Vs CPU (play the moment). I put it on slow, first week of season ( where I started it for Steelers ) the Steelers had the ball into the red zone maybe at the 10yrd line I got the 'play the moment'. I wanted to watch cpu vs cpu well I clicked O to exit so I wouldn't play and it went back to patriots having the ball within the Steelers red zone. In short it just reversed the field and forgot who had the ball. I've also pushed O to exit and its skipped a down and sometimes more than that where their are points on the board out of nowhere and the stats don't even show for it

Playing on slow computer to computer I went to skip the moment well it skipped the entire quarter but I still had the ball. Pretty horrible bug , it is GAME BREAKING.

It's happened multiple times by replaying cpu vs cpu.

no video but there has been many complaints on here and various websites including EA's. EA has yet to formally acknowledge this issue or say that they are attempting to fix it. if they have posted that they are working on the issue, I would like to see it formally posted on this website or EA.

Freezing every other game when loading into a game.

This game has been broken for offline franchise players using custom rosters. Every other game crashes and boots to the menu.

PC - I'm sure this happens on all of them have this bug because I remember it being in Madden 17 & 18 when I had it on the PS4 and it was in Madden 19 also when I had it on PC.

Bug (Be Specific):

When punting near or in the end zone the kicking meter disappears partially or totally behind the bottom score ticker
