umm..you should probably check out the 2K soundtracks from the last 5 or so years. There is a ton of variety in their choices.

I'm 32 and a big old school hip hop head so while this years soundtrack definitely isn't up my alley its not the worse we've had, at least this year they seem more tailored towards madden. There's probably a reasoning for the songs they pick for the soundtrack every year there's no way they just throw darts at a board and randomly pick out tracks for it. I'd be willing to bet you that the corporate marketing team has a big part in the songs they pick and they have a reasoning behind it. Being a big music person myself, if you're like me spotify can be your best friend. I usually just mute the music and will play my choice of music on spotify, or whatever your streaming music service of choice is. Of all my concerns with madden the soundtrack is definitely at the very bottom of my list.

Man, I'd hate to see how much a radio station that plays all of the top hits would blow your mind. Playing Kendrick Lamar one second, Maroon 5 the next, Taylor Swift after that. I don't know how people could ever imagine EA could potentially diversify their soundtrack a little and not have it be a "disjointed" mess. It's not like they've ever done it in the past, or have thousands of other games throughout time.
