Madden NFL 20 Patch 1.10 Available - Patch Notes Here

Can't find the impressions thread, so I'll just say here that one thing I consistently dislike about Madden is the forced positivity in all cases from the commentary.

For example, Blake Bortles' player intro as "a player who has proved time and time again he's someone you can build a team around". I'm paraphrasing in the first half of the quote. Clearly, negative commentary, even if it's accurate, is not allowed whatsoever.

Online regs has been fumble paradise for me. Cam Newton and Greg Olsen will fumble 3 possessions in a row smh. I normally just slide or fall down because running with the ball is currently too dangerous. I've noticed that my QB has fumbled the ball more in the backfield when I use the L2 trigger to run behind the line. That could be the intended result in that case, but 90% of my fumbles happen 10 yards down field and close to the sideline.

Zeke is unstoppable and seemingly has a force field around him when he runs. I know I suck at defense right now because the team I uses has a sucky defense, but there is no excuse for my guys to literally run into Zeke and not attempt a tackle. Cowboys o-line is able to block all 11 of my defenders somehow (I seriously sent everyone just to prove a point). AI Defenders are braindead. Maybe this is because Online is played on All-Pro. To me, All-Madden is solid on Madden 20, but I guess it may be too hard for competitive play. Either way, what I'm currently seeing and feeling is not good by any means. The game is still fun, but there are too many areas of the gameplay that make me feel helpless.

I play on All Pro and after this patch the CPU AI just does whatever it wants w/ the passing game now. 500 yards passing by the end of the game. Upping the difficulty is great but it seems they went a little overkill.

Try using coaching adjustments, Play WR, and set DB coverage to OVR, best corners line up vs best wr's.

I held Trubisky to 64% passing first game after the title update.

Trying to figure out the double team process last night on Xbox. It's actually LB instead of RB to bring up the blocking menu. Why are they talking about the pre-snap menu?

As usual,EA takes one step forward and two steps back with these early patches. This early patch may corrected the CPU QB always scrambling back and getting sacked problem but,still hasn't improved the zone coverages and may have caused coverages to be worse than they already were. Also,how come hardly anyone has mentioned that this patch was available about the time Madden games are usually released? The things that were fixed by this patch would've originally been fixed at the usual late August release of the game. Why didn't EA do like they usually do and not rush the release of the game? EA needs to be held accountable!

Using the pre-season 75 man roster (unedited) the snap counts for hidden dev trait players are not resetting.

I am also not getting any issues calling plays on offense or defense (lag or having to press the button twice)

I do get the slight delay when using the double team mechanic as far as the camera staying pulled back.....but after 2-3 seconds on the play clock tick off it goes back to my zoomed view.


I love the patch. It did a lot of very good things for me personally.
