He's just CAPITALizing on a trend. As he states in the description, he was just commenting on the outrage. Waited for the trend. Won't see someone like that leading a charge. They all just make videos for income and target specific community hot spots. Want views? Make an nfl 2k retrospect ive, compare current madden to old, etc.

Shortly after the 6 minute mark Kraelo bluntly said the gamechanger program was misunderstood and they aren't and were never meant to change the game but just make suggestions. He also said they need people who can articulate the problems versus just saying "the game is broke". You can't do that unless you have development experience and joe youtuber doesn't. In other words, they're useful idiots.

Could also spam Andrew Wilson's twitter and email, if you can find it. I doubt it will help though. He'd probably just become, well, let's say he'd probably just "stand taller" ready our delicious tears.

True, but I delete calls and emails from people I don't know.

He could too.

Or any spam email goes into junk email too.

Take it from someone who has tried that route several years ago. lol. Ignoreland.

I don't know every GC ever, but I do know more than one came in with actual ideas and in-depth examples of how to change things. That being said, I do agree that coming in and just saying "game sux" without also explaining how you'd fix it does not help.

Additionally, coming in just because you more like a quick paid vacation where you get to play a game is also not a great look.

But I don't think you need game dev experience to be able to explain how you'd fix things either. If you've played enough games, you have enough experience to draw on as a "commoner" to sort of put 2 and 2 together. You might not have every "if X happens do Y, otherwise do Z" permutation worked out, but you can still tangibly explain how you would do something at a high level.

There's a feedback side and content side to the program. The feedback side is exactly what it sounds like while the content side is more promotional with the early release videos, beta codes in previous years, game giveaways, etc. And the GameChanger moniker is very misleading when taken in a literal sense. We aren't there to change the game and like he said, that's not our purpose. It's more so to somewhat shape it and even that's probably a bit too strong of a term.

And you don't need development experience to be able to identify an issue or problem and articulate that to the developers but you have to be able to say more than "the run game is OP" or "CPU AI is stupid." That's not valuable feedback and it doesn't help the devs at all. The vast majority of the GC's I've met don't have development experience but the feedback I've seen them provide first hand puts them far and above "useful idiots."

That's not the feedback they want. If you listen further, you'll hear Kraelo talking about changing the program and gutfoxx asks "like how? Calling them influencers?" And Kraelo says yeah more along those lines. That's what that program has always been about. These games are ekgs. You can't build a 97 rated sports game anymore without competition. Not on a yearly basis either.
