Franchise plans

Wats everyone’s franchise plans this yr. im probably going to start with the bengals since burrow is my favorite player. Also looking for a challenge and their schedule will do just that. The division schedule alone will be brutal. Bengals have plenty of receivers and a good running back although a bad line. Defense has holes also. I usually trade to rack up picks but this yr im not so sure. I plan on signing clowney if he hasn’t signed irl. Will look at a good mlb such as jaylon smith or devin white. So ill probably be shedding picks instead of gathering. Gonna be a fun challenge I think

Started a franchise with the Dolphins on Madden 12. Not touching M21 with a stick this year until they commit back to Franchise mode - #FixMaddenFranchise

Dusted off the PS2 and will be playing thru a few quick seasons of 07-09. Find the one I really enjoy most and probably go from there. Mixing in a little HC09 as well to really feed the "why can't I have this now" monster inside me.

Re: Franchise plans

Mine will be like the past 4 years:
1. Start franchise
2. Play 6 games
3. Boredom sets in because franchise mode is bare bones nothingness.
4. Switch to playing MUT where at least there are a lot of things to do. Build my team playing solo challenges and battles, then take it online and destroy all the Lamar Jackson , Mike Vick abusing cheesers and laugh at them when they quit.

This is what madden football has become.

Re: Franchise plans

So I know everybody above has kinda pooped on your thread (and I know I am not buying 21 unless changes are made), but I can tell you what I would do, as I do the same every year I've had the game:

To get a feel for the game again, after usually not playing it for a few months, I'll start my franchise with either NYJ or Buffalo and relocate, then I get bored and move on to my real franchise - the Detroit Lions Rebuild.

I typically use the RNS or the Coryel vertical passing attack (depending on if I'm going to be playing the games (RNS) or simming (Coryel)). I slowly build my team exactly to the archetypes set for the RNS with the exception of my #1 and #2 WR (Deep threat or Physical) and my RB (make him balanced, as I'm not going to be passing to him often). Then I go from there. I leave coach firing on, as I follow my coach, not necessarily the team itself.

I always think about doing a franchise with a young QB (usually the Browns), but I always feel like that'd be too easy.

You're the OP?

Unless they're able to get Frosty up and running for M21, theres a good chance I stick with M20. Since I am using the Start Today file on PC and they added zero to franchise mode, I'm basically already playing M21 minus the wildcard accuracy. I'll try 21 out, but unless the gameplay changes and adaptive AI are just too good(the beta didn't seem to include all the changes) then I'll be sticking with 20. If the changes end up being worth the switch, I'll at least wait until Amp is working with 21 so I can use TDawg's progression tool as well as the draft class generator because I am not using the XP system.

Re: Franchise plans

If I were getting 21 I'd be picking one of the lower tier NFC teams to do a Franchise on for the YouTube channel. But more than likely I'll be sticking with 20 and my Ravens franchise using Sapp's fictional draft classes for my YouTube channel. I'm currently in my second year and 8-3 on the year. There's a battle for the AFC North between us, the Steelers and Browns so the season is very interesting at the moment.
