One thing I'll have to see how it is. I actually liked the ball dribbling out on some throws. It made it feel like the receiver never secured the catch to the ground and then you saw it roll out at the last second. I really liked those times. Not being sure if I had the catch or not.
I also wish that they would be more transparent with the coverage changes. Or figure out how to make better cover guys just cover better. The CPU is really going down the field way less now that coverage is getting better. So the issue I have is was the coverage bad because of just bad programming of it and how much was due to rating. Even good cover guys can get beat occasionally. I don't want every man defender to cover the same or everyone to play their zone perfectly especially if the rating doesn't dictate it. I am thinking that increasing the coverage so much has lead to the CPU not trying to go to it's wideouts because they are covered and dumping to RB more.
They are upset that the meta is right back where it ended last year. The competitive scene is majority QB draw offense, and stretch/dive runs.
The guy that won the club series championship last year with a punter at QB complained to the developers on Twitter that the pass is too strong, and the run needs buffing; a week goes by, and patch comes out that does exactly what he wanted. Despite the Madden feedback forum pleading for the opposite.

GameBreaker, can you elaborate a bit for me; I think I'm confused.
Prior to 1.14, there was too much pass rush, according to this competitive player?
And now with 1.14, there's more?
That seems like it'd be going in the opposite direction of his request, but again, I'm probably just confused. I don't follow this scene.

I'm 100% in agreement with the move to buff the pass rush...it has been underpowered the entire cycle (as usual). Passing needs to be more challenging...period.
If it disrupts online...oh well...

As a result of this patch, I can no longer get into my cloud franchise.. I'm getting an error that says "Our servers cannot process your request at this time. Please try again later. We apologize for any inconvenience. You have been returned to the Main Menu."
Is this happening to anyone else and does anyone know how I can fix it?

Too much pass rush? Where'd you get that? Madden competitive guy said passing offense was too good and wanted the run buffed and that's what happened supposedly (I pay 0 attention to competitive madden but going off what the other poster said)

As for the update, really glad they fixed the "WRs dropping the ball too late because of contact." That was a huge issue for me and a reason I had WR catching up at like 80 to help prevent that. I think I also had lowered the user pass blocking sliders so will have to up those since it will be even stronger but having Murray as your QB makes it pretty easy to avoid sacks so we'll see.
