Yep same thing here. Whomever thinks it's shenanigans is completely DELUSIONAL.
When the game gets patched I'll re buy it. But in its current state it shuts down my Series X during games. Game is unplayable. Ridiculous uneducated comments with ZERO understanding of what's happening are of no help here.

Madden 22 is 100% overheating xbox series x consoles. It happens to me and several other people in my league.

Just be happy you aren't v experiencing it.

No he's right. I've already reported this, but it only happens with Madden 21 and 22. It's something in the game that makes it go offline. It literally shuts down making the controller blink. You have to get up and power the console back on manually. It's happened a few times on me already.

Is it the physical copy or the digital as well?
