Online only mode.....hard pass for me. Playing sports games online is highly annoying.

I'm not interested in this mode for Madden

But man I would pay big bucks to get those rosters in the new NCAA Football

In years past I spent months just creating those exact type of rosters for the college game and loved every minute of it once the rosters were completed.

I hope they give us the ability to play with these rosters right out of the gates in EA College football and we don't have to create classic rosters.

It looks like they actually had full rosters for every team which was shocking to me.

They added this into the game from the back side it seems, anyone have any idea if they added anything useful to say, online CFM? Penalties perhaps?

This limited time event is the most important thing they have going at this stage? Couldn’t have this been added at any point during the college football season?

…..But…. There are no penalties in franchise and they are ok with that.

I think it is safe to say the people who worked on implementing this mode are not the same people working on franchise content.

I understand everyone's frustrations with Franchise mode, but it is a little ridiculous that any time anything at all is added to this game, or anything is tuned or fixed, that half the board has to act like EA put 100% of their resources towards ignoring franchise mode.

EA makes some changes to MUT a couple days after release. We get hoards of people saying look how much EA loves MUT and hates franchise mode. We see this get added and half the posts are about how nobody asked for this, how about you fix franchise mode, yada yada.

I know the majority of the people on this board really are not naive enough to believe that EA can only direct their attention to one thing at a time. We already know a patch for franchise is and has been in the works. EA doesn't have to delay any other planned work on other parts of the game until that patch is released.

It's like getting a new uniform added to the game and people complain saying that effort should have been spent elsewhere as if the artist who worked on that uniform is also coding contract logic in franchise mode.

I remembered I had some time left on the trial so I downloaded this and booted it up. Let's see:

1) There's no easy way to bring up the rosters/ratings before diving in
2) There's no easy way to tell if your depth chart is suited for a 4man or 3man front
3) Every game is played in Hard Rock Stadium for some reason
4) The gd thing still hard crashes my Series X

I'm not a Madden ***** by any means but they are working my last nerve this year
