Forget what they said, I'm just saying apply some logic. They might want it to be done in October but this is just trying to keep people playing the game. They suckered me into buying early for the College mode only to find out it couldn't even be played offline. Just online games where people quit after 2 quarters and no credit for wins.

You can stick to that October deadline and think it's a confirmation if you want, I'm being realistic. I don't think they are 3-4 weeks away and they would never tell us anyway.

Quick question after reading the article.

What do I (as a user) do to scout? Because it sounds like all we do is pick a position at the beginning and wait for things to unlock?

They mention you're able to "set it and forget it". However, I'd like to know more about what we do to not forget it and interact with it.

Right now it sounds like we won't really be doing much. Which is a HUGE worry for me.

In one of the screen shots it showed the Weakest position as TE... But on the same page, it showed 0 Active SS.

Sire you can make it make sense, but TE isn't even one of the top 3 Top Team Needs.

In the blog they mention a player falling in the draft because of a low injury rating. Is injury rating actually important this year?

And for all those people complaining about the delay or the state of the game at launch; don’t buy at launch. The game has problems for weeks after launch every year. Save yourself a few bucks by waiting a couple months. The game should also be in a much better state.

Also, it really comes down to getting the scouting overhaul this year vs next by them doing things this way. If you say you’d prefer they wait until 23 to add it in then just means another feature for next year gets pushed to 24.

Disappointing. But I’ll just say once the scouting update comes out it must work and it must have real depth and be good. If it launches as a buggy mess, breaks other features or is half baked they will deserve the backlash that will come their way. EA has to nail this feature. Perhaps this delay means they understand that.
