I've played 3 games with the new patch and had 3/4 crashes in each game. Usually when I'm in the redzone and calling a play.

Has anyone tried to uninstall and reinstall Madden? I'm going to try that now.

I made it through a franchise game against the CPU without crashing.

Grrrrr! This is getting frustrating real quick! So annoying how one update can cause so much damage to a game. I can’t get through one matchup without it crashing on me, usually several times!

People in my PS5 Madden 22 league were experiencing frequent crashing following the scouting update until they cleared system cache.

To clear system cache, turn off your PS5 (not stand by, completely turn it off), then unplug it from the wall for 60 seconds. Plug it back in after that and you should be good to go.

Going to try this....got 2 crashes post patch that never happened during actual gameplay before the patch.

I’ve done this several times but still had no luck. Still crashing on me.

Well maybe 3rd time is a charm. Just got through a game without it crashing. Hopefully not a fluke. But it’s a sad state of affairs when you hope that it’s not a fluke that your game didn’t crash…
