Madden 22 PS5 game crashing after scouting update

I gave up on this game because of it freezing going back to the hub after playing a game and not being able to save. Since this big update I’m going to give it another go. If it crashes in any way, shape, or form I’m done lol.

There is widespread crashing post scouting patch. Whether it is a certain goal line defense selected or an audible….it is a mess and needs a hot fix asap.

I love the game this year but stability has been ridiculously uneven and we are in October.

Lets go already.

I got through a head to head game after I uninstalled and reinstalled Madden.

I was playing ALL Madden and got thru three games with no issue. I switched to ALL Pro, and the game crashed twice within a few minutes.

I’m downloading a new patch now. Hopefully this will fix the crashing issue.

I think certain plays lead to crashing
That one goal line jacks thing is a guarenteed crash
But like random plays will lead to crashes for me in certain games.

For me, I just load right back in so its not like game breaking. Definitely sucks but I've really been enjoying it so

The latest patch which was released today is said to have fixed the crashing issues experienced in NG (PS5/XSS/XSX)….
