Actually he isn't alone on the PS2 version of Madden. I loved it also, and so did many others on this forum. I found it to be so much more fun and authentic than Madden 09 on the 360.

When Madden 10 comes out I'm sure he will give it a fair shot. The brother is just saying he is enjoying the game. He isn't dissing any version of Madden.

OP enjoy the game and make the best of it. It is a fun game.

I'm doing the same exact thing lol. I'm also hoping that Madden on the PS2 has less jaggies, but either way I'm playing them both. If one does suck it will go back for sure.

I wish I didn't get rid of my Xbox 1 when I moved last year. I had Madden 08 for 360 yet I still would play Madden 07 and 06 for Xbox 1 just for the franchise mode. Then again, they don't make madden for Xbox anymore...not that I could see myself buying the old-gen version anyway. I'm a sucker for the new, flashy stuff. Hopefully franchise is at least tolerable.
