Does it have the same player ratings?

Or did they ever add in the new ratings like juke, spec catch, spin, catch-in-traffic, etc.

IAN doesnt have to be a tool about it. last-gen 09 was better . we know all you guys care about is the money. i have had a 360 for 3years now only reason i got the system was to play madden . but still iv only purchased last gen games. this year im feelin the nex gen game so far i hope this is the game i make the jump for

player ratings are still the same.....they are not updated like Next-Gen

Yeah. Madden 09 for Ps2 is the best Madden to date. I have played all of them, Next gen and current gen. ANd when the game came out there was tons of people online also.

I'd prefer the old days where they didn't talk to us, to having developers putting out sorry games and taunting us for liking the previous versions - which are superior by the way.

btw i always buy the game on the next gen systems to give it a chance. then i realize what a nut-kick the game is and sell it back for the ps2 version.

So, when you clock in at your job, all you care about is how many products your company sells?

Come on dude get real. The employees at EA arent teh freakin BORG man. They arent in it just to make EA money. They went to college and got degrees in computer programing because they wanted to make video games. it is what they like to do, and with all the added effort, it is crazy to think that all they want is to make EA more money. They want respect, they want to be proud of their game, and they want to have fun. Like anyone who has a job (a real job. not McDonalds or soemthing like that)

I'm pretty hyped for Madden 10 on PS3 so I gave the last-gen Madden 09 a spin on my XBOX. It's a pretty solid game of football!

I really dig the little touches the game has - the QB play is better and using the R-Stick to avoid sacks is great: I'm practicing for 10. Running the ball got an upgrade too - jukes feel better. (and Deuce McAllister is a BEAST)

If you can pick it up dirt cheap, why not? It's a great change of pace to play Madden with John and Al - just like old times.
